Journalistic and documentary comics

The course Journalistic and Documentary Comics at K3 is analysing and producing comics that are documentary and journalistic. The course gathers students from all kinds of backgrounds to make it as productive as it is. It culminates in the production of larger individual documentary comics projects. At the end of the course, an exhibition of these projects is developed and executed by the students with the help of Detlev Riller. This year, we are only showing excerpts of work done, as some will be published in other places.

Due to the current situation, we planned and designed the exhibition for a virtual place only. But if you want to know where to get the furniture or lights and how long delivery will take: ask our students, they have mapped it all out and made sure that all fits together – in only two and a half days! The resulting exhibition is simulated in the film below.
